Mf 101 +5V trigger

Dear readers,

I own a MF 101 low pass filter and I am curious if i could plug the trigger out from my roland 626 (which is +5V) into one of the expressionpedal inputs without blowing it up or frying the circuit. I want to do this to create a sort off ‘auto cutoff’ in tempo.

If the 5v is supplied at tip it should be fine. Try it using a mono cable.

Thank you for your reply

if you have a soldering iron, rig up a guitar tone circuit – the simple filter is a slew limiter and will act as an AD envelope running a trigger through it, plus its passive

I don’t exactly get what you mean with that

That’s awesome. Would one have to use a different value cap?
