First easy question. What are the symptoms of a Memorymoog plus with a dead battery?
Second question. Anyone ever deal with a key stuck on. The key itself moves fine so I’d assume the contact is stuck on.
Dead battery will result in corrupted patches between power cycles.
Stuck key, haven’t had that one. Maybe a bad diode in the scanning matrix.
Ok, to elaborate, so a dead battery would start up and not warn you or anything, the symptom would just be a failure to store patches? Mine worked fine then suddenly locked up on startup. Lights go on but nothing responds.
As for the stuck on note, the key still works I was theorizing the contact is bad somehow, that might mean a diode or something physical. They key itself moves fine.
Was just trying to gauge if these are typical problems that others have encountered .
They stuck key is likely causing the freeze on power up. Been decades since I looked inside one so I’m not sure.
