Memorymoog for dummies Yahoo group

I have compiled some information and made a Yahoo group site for Memorymoog owners. There is another Yahoo group that is…well…sparce. So I created mine.
I will include everything I do to upgrade the synth and detaailed instructions on Calibration with High Rez photos…not to mention other proceedures like fixing and cleaning switches and rebuilding your keyboard, power supply modification. Hopefully other Memorymoog users will help with the site. It is focused to the non-technical person so that he does not have to send his MM to Australia to replace his battery.
Try it and register your MM serial number in the database section.

I am getting ready to replace all of my own trimpot potentiometers on the voice cards (range and scale) with newer, better trimpots. I will be documenting this proceedure with photos.
If you are a pro and you want to warn me…forget about it. I am brave and I drink barley wine.
Join, won’t you???

Only Memorymoog users, Moog Beam?

That’s pretty sparse in among itself, isn’t it? Only one synth to discuss? I mean, sure it’s got tons of parameters, but it’s only one synth!

Hey,
The Yahoo group is like those series of books; you know, “math for dummies”…“brain surgery for dummies”…etc.
And it is devoted to providing info on keeping the great Memorymoog alive. Check out “The Chroma Cult” on the internet, it is devoted to one thing, the Chroma.
But if and when I get around to calibrating my Voyager I will post that info as well. And the discussion board is open for whatever people want to discuss. But check out yahoo groups for the memorymoog, you will find one group! And that group is not devoted to the repair or restoration of the Memorymoog.
But sure, anyone can join…even girls (Yuck!).
