I am sending my Matriarch clock through usb midi. I have tried a few DAWs and pieces of external gear, but the clock seems to make the delay wobble a bit. I assume this is some sort of timing issue.
I’ve seen a few other people talking about it on some other forums, and just wondered if there is something I’m doing incorrectly, or if this is a known issue.
Just had an update from Moog: “We have also observed this behavior and confirmed that it is inherent to the current firmware version for this instrument. There is no ETA at this time, but our engineers are aware of the issue and working hard on the future firmware update that corrects this behavior.”
In the meantime I might re-install the older firmware.
Quick update - Moog have been amazing and sent through a link to new 1.2.2 firmware which fixes the delay sync wobble AND also now the arp/seq switches from Midi sync to internal automatically.
Have to say they have been brilliant with this - great company that makes amazing synths!
Hi, my wife is very happy to own a Moog Matriarch since yesterday. We would like to midi synchronize it to my equipment without wobbly delay. Where can we get firmware 1.2.2?
I wrote an email to moog technical support and asked them to send me the firmware v1.2.2. A couple of hours later I received a download link. I don’t know, why they don’t publish it officially.
