Maestro MP-1 Phaser Knob

hiya all, i’m searching for a knob for a Maestro MP-1 Phaser from the 70’s.
It was designed by Bob…quite rare I think…any help would be greatly appreciated its a fine piece of vintage/moog history.

Kevin? any chance of you having one?

Cheers and Thnx For any help

LPTE #585

Sorry but I don’t have one.

A pedal with a control labeled “balls” could be designed by Bob?
Ya think?

hahahahahaha I think he just did the electronics…Bob definitely wasnt a Metasonix kind of guy

Thnx for the reply Kevin, btw how you doing these days man. Hope things are well for you.

It must be an epidemic with those…my buddy has one that also was missing a knob. He ended up replacing it with a bakelite number he found at a flea market. Totally not original equipment, but it still looks cool. And Kevin, I don’t see why Bob wouldn’t put a control called Balls on there. His own phaser can be set to Stun and Kill. He obviously had a sense of humor.

Sorry if I wasn’t clear.

Anyone that spent some time with Bob would know he often used colorful language.
“Balls” and “Moogfooger” were names he choose to use.
But he never went the length that Metasonix has in naming his products.
There’s a difference between a cute name and childish bathroom humor.

I think Maestro products were designed by Tom Oberheim but I’m not sure  .
Great phaser btw

Some Maestro FX were Tom Oberheim designs, some were Bob Moog designs. Separate eras, no collaboration between the two.
