Hi! I just got the FastTrack Pro interface today, and I want to send MIDI notes to my Little Phatty from FL, and run the LP’s audio through the interface and into FL. I’ve tried several configurations but I can’t seem to figure out how to make it work. The LP is definitely running audio into FL, as I can record audio by pressing keys, but the MIDI notes are getting lost somewhere along the way. FL recognizes MIDI when I hit notes on the MIDI out in FL, but the LP is not sending audio when I control it this way. Does anyone know how to make this work?

Just to double-check, you ARE recording from the audio out right?
You should have the MIDI cables set up like this:
COMPUTER->FASTTRACKPRO->MIDI OUT TO LITTLEPHATTY’s MIDI IN
THEN, you should take the Little Phatty’s AUDIO OUT and plug that into your audio interface.
MIDI just transmits data, not sounds. Hope this is helpful!
Hey, thanks for the concern! I did get it to work 
Apparently my LP does not like being told what to do via USB cable. Only through his MIDI in jack will he obey orders from a computer.
P.S. I know MIDI doesn’t transmit audio. Just want to get that straight so people don’t think I’m greener than I really am
