LP2. How to stop controlling software as a controller...

Hi guys
i got my LP2 hooked up in midi (in & out ) to my USB midi interface.

Everything is ok but i got a problem

When i move on the LP the VOLUME pot or the MOD WHEEL theese control the fader and other parameters in my Logic Pro tracks.

There’s a way to stop the LP2 to not work as a midi controller but only as a normal midi device?

thanks!

What is the difference between a MIDI controller and a normal MIDI device?

If you mean only sending note on/off messages then there are plenty of ways to do this in Logic. Head to the environment (command + eight) and program a transformer. It sounds like you may want to read up on what MIDI is.

LMAO harsh.

Read up on Midi filters to restrict only a certain type of data thru the LPs port communicating with the DAW.

hi guys
no, i don’t want to send midi note on/off, i want to stop the phatty to change my parameters in logic mixer!

Is really annoing to have the pots wich affect the logic parameters during the normal LP use.

any advice? only this strange "midi filters?

thanks

If you don’t want it to send midi controllers at all, then just unplug it. If you do want to send some cc’s but not all, then program a transformer in logic’s environment.
