Hi Amos and friends,
I just got my Little Phatty (TE) off ebay yesterday and to my delight it is the most beautiful thing i have ever bought. Even when making-out with my girlfriend i make sure her back is towards the LP at all times so i can keep an open eye staring at my beautiful new moog! ![]()
anyways, down to business.
So, to my sadness right when the LP arrived this one note (C) at a specific frequency just wasnât acting right, it just made a high pitched whine. I knew it wasnât the physical key because itâs location (octave up & down) changed when i pressed the transpose key. I didnât freak because this screamed âFIRMWARE ERRORâ to me. I did the logical steps of rebooting the machine, making a new patch and finally re-calibration of the machine.
Two hours later, voila! It worked!
To my surprise though, the pitchbend was acting different then it was before the calibration. It only bent the note down (-) and not up (+).
I was surprised by this because i thought i had re-calibrated the pitchbend also (the only calibration that requires to physically move any parts on the machine).
My thought is that i might have done something out of order. Could anyone (nudges Amos) here tell me the exact order of calibration these need to be performed in? (i.e. Pitchwheel firstâŚblah secondâŚblah thirdâŚblah fourth)
- Pitchwheel
- Note
- PW Amount
- OSC 2 Freq
Thank you kindly!
