Once I upgraded to FW 3.1S 672 the Phatty crashes in irregular intervals, when I try to control it with the Juno-G Sequencer on Port 8 by a DIN-cable. Midi-Signals were received but after a short time all the lights on the Phatty blink at the same time and it doesn’t respond anymore. The Midi-sequences are the same I used successfully with FW 2.2 before. Nothing but the new Phatty firmware has changed in my setup. Please, help! ![]()
The strange behavior of the Phatty appears with every midi file played by the Juno-G (V2.0). A Waldorf Blofeld connected by another DIN-Cable to midi channel 7 runs without any problems.
Huh, so have you tried the juno-g on port besides 8?
PS-is there a way to downgrade your os?
Thanks, davydka. I tried several midi channels (1 and up) with the same result as above. If I start the midi sequence on the juno-g, the program change on the Phatty happens successfully, you can hear some notes. After a while it stops working with (sometimes blinking) lights on and no sound. The lights on the front panel lit in an completely illogical combination. Only a power cycle could reactivate the Phatty in this state.
Two minutes ago I powered on the Phatty and played some notes without any Midi connection. Suddenly the display showed some chinese symbols and some seconds later all lights were blinking. The Display shows since then “Erasing Flash …” - with all lights still blinking! Any help on that?
