Hi guys, i’m using a MP-201 to send a midi clock to my LP and it works great. The problem is that i want to send the midi clock to another keyboard that recieves midi messages form the LP (MP-201 → LP → Other Keyboard), and i can’t make it work… this is because the LP doen’t send midi clock?? thanks for the help
You simply need a thru box so that the MP-201 out is sent to multiple endpoints (LP on one, your other Keyboard on the other, etc.).
If you want to get your computer into the mix, simply send the out of the MP-201 via USB into your computer and use a Midi-Mapper to other USB outs or to one of multiple DIN midi outs on your computer’s interface.
I have a MidiMan 2x2 and actually run DIN out of my MP-201 into a Mac through port A-in, then route out port-B which is connected to a 1:4 thrubox which connects to my LP, my Drum machine, and my Taurus pedals with MidiMapper routing clock that way. It works well.

thanks for the answer EM… so this tells me that the LP doesn’t send the midi clock signal even if you have Midi Merge On… well i’ll try to find a thru box then… thanx again!!
