Could not find anything LP oriented on this issue, only Voyager. The Blue LED’s on the mod wheels flashing to the LFO rate are driving me crazy. Being Red/Green blind, I’m overly sensitive to blue; is there anyway to turn them off?
So, I’m guessing not? I hate to just clip them off, but it looks like it’s time to open it up and disconnect it one way or another. Really bumming me out how bright it is.
Much better than cutting or installing a switch:
Put some red Sharpie on the LED. It will significantly tone it down, and it’s easy to remove with hand sanitizer gel.
That… is… a GREAT IDEA! It wasn’t even on my radar
Thank you!
My other color-related problem is all these LED’s on the Mooger Foogers always look the same
Tri-color, Bi-color LED’s don’t work on color R/G blind people
Yellow, Amber, Green all look the same. I talked to Moog a bit about it. To retrofit them all is too expensive. I was I had kind of pen sized tool that would give me the RGB code of an LED. I should patent that.
I do it all the time on my stomp boxes with blue LEDs.
Sure, blue LEDs look cool and modern, but they make your pupils close so much that you can’t see the text on the pedal in a gig environment.
