yeah, i’m done dealing with that lousy company. it’s like walmart for instruments.. no people there actually care about what happened, nor did anyone offer a solution besides a refund.
the mere fact that they let a used product out the door and tried to pass it off as new was enough.
as opposed to AMS’s ongoing 3 month+ wait for broken used products, Analog Haven has shipped mine after a preorder wait of only 3 days.
Ok so i’v just bought a Lp a week ago and i’m very happy about how it sounds. It’s my first analog synth and I feel like mine might have the same problem about the noise (a static noise) but I hope too that is a comon thing with the analog synths.
Well, the noise seems less noticeable than on my LP, so I definitely think yours is normal, seeing as Moog Music deemed mine normal. Still makes me a bit grumpy, but a portion of the noise is due to how the firmware is coded. The next major firmware revision will supposedly quiet the LP down a bit.
Thank you Pulsar for your response and thank you, yes I already felt in love with the LP ! It is absolutely worth it, i’v sold my Yamaha rack es rompler to buy it and i don’t regret it at all. Now i will stay stuck to the analog world.
Ps : Other owners feel free to reassure me lol because i’m from France and i don’t know how difficult it is to repair it if mine had finally a problem, because now it’s my Little Baby and we all care about our babies
I have phatty #438. I haven’t checked it out while pressing a key and having both oscillators set to zero. However, without pressing any keys, my little phatty is hands down the quietest synth among six other digital synths in terms of system hiss.
I also have no problems with audio output. It easily rivals my Roland JP-8080 and my Yamaha TQ5 for volume, and they’re my two loudest synths.
If you’re having severe problems in either of these areas, you should definitely talk to Moog Tech Support.
