loop da murff

Like other Moogerfoogers you can loop the output (controlled by a mixer) to the input.

Do this with the Midi Murf and explore it as your new synth…

  • with the Filter Sliders you can control the basic sound (on Pattern postion 1 as a continous sound, on the other positions as a rhythmic sound).

  • with CV LFO/SWEEP you can control the pitch (not in a tonal scale), try it with a sequencer (switch LFO should be OFF)

  • with CV ENVELOPE you can control the… envelope (also nice with a second track from a sequencer)

  • play with all the knobs - e.g. MIX will also change the sound

  • and for some enhancement expand the loop with a ring modulator…

  • have fun

Totally need to try this! Don’t know why I haven’t. Thanks Red!

That’s a very cool trick - I used a feedback loop pedal with a trimmer pot. I will have to experiment with it more. It has some dominant frequencies depending how the sliders are set. Might be a fun thing to run through some of my other gear. The sequencer idea is a good one, as would be programming your own patterns

Wow-- that is really neat. I find it hard to get a pleasing sound but there are sweet spots. It’s amazing how much variance you can get to. Thanks for highlighting this for us.

I used to do this with an eq pedal. It became a drone synth and you control the pitch and harmonics with the eq bands
