Looking for ultra useful iOS app...

I have no idea where or how to find it ~ but would love to have my iPhone ‘Home Page’ ALWAYS display current mp3 playback track data when I am listening back to my own work so I can make notes and or pinpoint areas in very long recordings that I want to edit or comment on… in order to MIX , overdub whatever…
does anybody know if something like that exists within the phone/apps system? :question:

Having to turn the phone “on” and then navigate through several menus — is terribly disruptive even when you are not out someplace doing something else

A couple things I know may help, but don’t know of any non jail broken phone apps that will do that…

When the phone is locked, you can double click the home button to activate a stripped down music player with volume, pause and transport controls.

If you are using the headphones with the inline control, you can click once on the center to pause, again to play.

You could put the music app in the 4 always there apps at the bottom of the screen…
