Logic record resets Preset? (RME)

Hi Everyone

I literally just received my RME about an hour ago after waiting a week for delivery… very excited

im using logic 8 & I have noticed that when I clicking my midi input & audio input channel then press record that it resets the preset back to number one, this has happened twice now

is this normal behavior? surely not

please tell me there is some way round this so I dont have to return my voyager & wait ANOTHER couple of weeks!!!

If I understand it sound as though you’re receiving preset changes from logic, then just disable preset receive in menus in RME.?

I think it must just be a glitch in logic 8

when I click the ‘R’ record on the Audio channel that is recieving audio from the RME

then, when I click the ‘R’ to engage the midi on the external midi channel it resets the preset back to the 1st one of the bank

but if you just click the external midi bar & not the ‘R’ button, its fine
