Logic 9 and LFO sync

I am having a bit of trouble syncing my LFO to the bpm of my track in logic 9
I have read the manual but i must be missing something because its not syncing!!

Could some one out there walk me through the best way to set up a track in logic to control my LP via midi.
The way im doin it now is holding me back!!

I’m using a stage i LP with the stage ii os update
and ive got a Focusrite Saffie sound card with midi in and outs connected to my Mac and LP

Any help would be much appreciated

if you read the LP manual then you probably have the LFO SYNC set to MIDI
next thing to make sure of is that Logic is definitely sending MIDI clock to the LP.
If these two things are both set up correctly, it should work…
so if it doesn’t work, my first guess would be that one of those things is not set up correctly :slight_smile:

So ive got the lfo syncing with the bpm but when i try to adjust the time value with automation using cc#103 nothing changes

Im sure itill be a simple thing that ive left out.

Any ideas?
