loading sounds into voyager - which device?

Hello,

I need to load my own sounds into a Voyager, in a studio, what (small) device could I use to do this? Could I use a portable HD, or does it have to be a laptop? How does the process work?

Are you trying to run an audio signal to be processed by the filters or are you trying to send a preset to it that you created?

for Midi, a Roland Edirol or an UNO midi interface for around 50 bucks would be fine.

MidiOX is the reccomended program.

EricK; I’m trying to send a patch that I’ve created, so just MIDI’ll do.
The program runs on a laptop, I assume?

btw: MidiOX is not gonna work for me. It’s windows-only [cough]

Try SysexLibrarian if you are a Non-Windows user like me…

syx librarian and a midisport uno (or midisport 1x1) are a decent combo.

thanx to Amos and Prime !

But due to a problem in some later 10.5 OS X versions, it won’t work on these Macs at all. There is a problem with the parsing of Sysex there.
Snow leopard works fine.

Amos,

You know, if you haven’t already, Ill bet that MOOG can work with CityMac on Biltmore ave to equip you guys with some Mac’s specifically to address the Implementation issues for Mac users

I was at the factory last Thursday, got a quick tour. Would have liked to shake your hand but I think you were still in transit from Namm.

Eric

I have Snow, so I’m good to go…
