Live sync problem

Hi everyone, sorry if this subject has been covered in previous posts, but I couldn’t find it myself using the search function.

Is there any way of syncing the Little Phatty arpeggiator to Ableton Live so that when i hit a note, the arpeggiator will be in time with the music? At the moment, even if the arpeggiator picks up midi sync and the correct bpm, everything still falls apart if I am slightly before or after the beat, because the whole sequence will then be off. I realise that i can just send the midi notes to the Phatty from Ableton, but i’d like to play the synth myself,
I just worry about my timing, especially since i mostly use the Phatty for bass lines. I’m hoping for a solution that doesn’t involve getting someone who is better at playing the synth than me.

No. Note that only the 1st note played and held needs to be at the correct moment.

You might be able to turn local control off, send the note info into the computer where the note on is passed back out in time. Just play the note a bit early and it is held till the next 1/4, 1/8, whatever note.
