Little Phatty stage II tuning issue

Hi guys and girls,

I would appreciate some help!

My little phatty stage II is acting odd. Some patches are out of tune with others by as much as a semi-tone. It is consistent which patches are out of tune, and by how much. I have tried going through all the calibrations (no effect) factory restore, and then calibrate again (No effect). After the factory restore, my patches were obviously gone, but some of the factory patches also were out of tune. This is the case with auto tune on or off. I have also noticed the synth is sending midi cc pitch bend messages to my daw randomly. I don’t know how the synth works (not an engineer) but it seems more like a software issue than a hardware issue? I only say this because it is always consistently wrong by the same amounts, although the pitch bend cc does seem to be randomly generated when sent to the daw.

I have had this issue twice before, but both times it just seemed to go away on its own. That doesn’t seem to be happening this time. I am based in the UK and the warranty has long since expired, so sending it back to moog is not really an option.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated, hopefully I have explained the issue well enough.

Just as a caveat, I saw someone had the same issue with a voyager on this forum, but it was caused by a pot map menu function which I was unable to locate on the phatty.

You can still ask Moog for help, even though you are out of warranty. If it is something you can solve yourself, then it will cost you nothing. Write to them at techsupport@moogmusic.com

Yeah I did try emailing them, a couple of times over the last month or so, but have had no reply!
