Well, let’s see…0001-1200 is the Tribute, which would suggest the Stage I started at 1201. I’m not sure when they switched to the Stage II but my Stage I is 1326, which tells me that I’m the 125th person to purchase a Stage I. On the other hand, all Stage II’s have an additional 0 at the beginning of the number. So even if mine was the last Stage I made, the first Stage II would be 01327 if they truly are going in order. Now that I’ve confused myself, I’ll leave you guys to work it out. 
The Tribute SN is displayed as TE000xx of 1200 ,I am pretty sure the Stage started at 00001 or something like that.
I guess the count starts at 0001 instead of 0000 just to show it’s an analogue synth …?
Yes, because the serial numbers for a digital synth would be like, 0000 followed by 0001, then 0010, then 0011, then 0100, followed by 0101, etc.
My Stage is #1326…no zeros at all.
