I have a question, I am Interested in buying a Moog Little Phatty stage II and i want to know something.
There is a Moog little phatty In Red with Black Sides and Red Back and Backlights,
This is NOT the australian Red Back Edition this one has No CV Out Mod on the side and is just red, I was wondering do MOOG actually Do the Paint job on it? and actually manufacture it?
or does the shop do it as it says " Thomann Edition " ?? Heres the link to check it out.
I was only wondering since it is Not on the Moog website. I am aware the Electrics and that are all moog but not sure if the paint job is done by them… Hmm
I never heard of the outfit selling, must be local to you but I’m quite sure they a) make it b) do the paint, etc. and c) do final assembly and testing in Asheville. I don’t think they would have it any other way.
Same for the ‘solar’ edition that Sweetwater sells here in the North America, same for the whitewash edition of Old School Voyager and lunar Foogers that Nova*Musik sell.
Nah, The one i am referring to has NO Cv Installed on the right panel, and is the same price as the ordinary stage too, its just the colour scheme thats different, so i was wandering if moog actually did the colour scheme as i dont want to buy a phony Moog!
I think it’s cool Moog hooks up their bigger retailers with special editions. Thomann probably thought they had a better chance to sell them at the lower price without the CV out mod.
