Thanks for the link - I like it, good work!

I am planning on triggering my 3-Phatty Poly Chain/Modular setup from my 6-String Bass using a Roland GK-3B Pickup, so yes this type of thing does interest me. Did your guitarist find he had to change his ‘normal guitar’ playing style much to achieve clean triggering of the Little Phatty?

Really cool project! I like the video too, although it’s a bit shaky sometimes.

Would you tell us more about the gear involved? I can see a weirdly shaped guitar, a cool chess drum set, and what seems to be an EP with a pedal board… I could here some Rhodes and the key guy seemed to make those airy lead touches.
Any details?

Hi guys, sorry for replying late, a lot things to do… :smiley:
I am the key guy by the way. I use Rhodes MkII with different effects, most of them built by the guitarist (auto wah, delay etc.) and a Eventide pitchFactor, which basically produces the sweepy sound. This sound is quiet weird to play on the Rhodes by the way :wink:
The drummer uses triggernets on the bassdrum and snare, the signal goes to a macbook where a trigger plugin in Ableton is used.
The guitarist has a Teuffel Tesla Guitar with a Midi ‘interface’ (http://www.teuffel.com/english/guitars/tesla/midi.htm), the signal is send to the moog and some moog parameters are controlled with a Behringer FCB 1010 pedal board.
This is basically our setup. I can make some pictures of the setups in the next rehearsal if you are interested.
