What hardaware is tuned-up / updated to the Little Phatty with the Factory Update to 3.1?

It is also available as a Factory Update from Moog. Should you choose the Factory Update, Moog will update the firmware for your Little Phatty (Stage 1, 2 and Tribute) as well as > include a sonic tune-up to the latest hardware > for $99.00.

Any information about it would be greatly appreciated :slight_smile: !

Alright, I got the answer from Moog (Amos) via email:

The hardware update replaces the capacitors in the DAC circuits (the place where digital settings become analog control voltages), to improve the signal/noise ratio of the Phatty’s CV controls.

So I’ve decided to send my LP for the factory update… :sunglasses:

I’m assuming the new black endpanel LPs come with these hardware changes as standard?

In my opinion is better to have a confirmation from Moog whether the new black-side-panels LPs will come with both hardware update and new firmware :wink:
