I have the Voyager desktop wallpaper on my studio computer, but geez guys, shouldn’t Moog give us some Phatty desktop love? I think the Voyager is a fine instrument, but what are the boys in Asheville saying about the Phatty? That it doesn’t rate display on my desktop? That it’s the poor cousin of the Voyager? Harumph. [Okay… this is only partly serious, but if the Moog folks do have a Phatty wallpaper, I want it!]
Haha! Rate display! Yeah, they need an LP desktop…maybe just showing the front panel, so your computer screen looks like it’s an LP. ![]()
Oooh… I like it!
I’m with you guys! A Little Phatty desktop background would go down like a genius!
Oi! Moog! Whip us up a Little Phatty background!
There`s a great one here:

I use the third one for my desktop at work. Quite the conversation piece. ![]()

i would definately need a noise filter to post my photo in a larger format but you can get the idea:

Nice dark shot! I need to get one to show off my now-completed custom light scheme. I’ll do that tonight. ![]()
What would be really cool is if you could take a picture of the LP like that in the dark with a long exposure, while flipping through all the presets really fast lol.
That might look cool.
THat picture, man Its almost as if you can’t tell what it is, just a bunch of lights. It woudl have taken me awhile to figure out thats a LP cause I don’t own one.
Eric
excellent idea, i’ll see what i can do. i got a new lens that needs some expirementing and would be perfect for the job ![]()
That would look truly awesome!
Post those badboys up here when you get a chance, I HAVE to see this…
I forgot digital cameras don’t do dark shots well.
Here’s a pic of the color scheme, anyway.

There’s also pictures of what happens when you use someone else’s brakes. Or at least, why wide tires aren’t good on ice. And why the insurance company is buying me a new car. ![]()
oh cheers
LP wallpaper_ was the 1st thing i looked out for as soon as i got home… after unpacking the LP of course_
I always see some Voyager walls but never the LP_
Please Moog_
Wow..a Moog in South Africa…who’d a thought? Very cool! It always blows my mind as a narrow-minded American when I see some of the countries where fellow forum members are from. I guess you’d call it…global Mooging! ![]()
True indeed_
You’d be more suprised by even more gear kids play with in these here parts_ but through all the flashiest of gadgets you’d be less suprised (as a LP owner yourself) by the far too familiar reaction when you put your phatty on the bandstand… see fig.2 illustration of turning heads mumbling… “nice synth”
My LP turns more heads than it used to though. What with the custom lights and all. I’m not even done with everything I want to add! I still need to get some custom wood side panels in birds eye maple, and stained Hunter green. I’ve got some other ideas as well for the appearance.
I’ve found the LP to be inspiring visually, as well as soundwise. ![]()

+1 to that statement. After programming patches (from scratch or from the calibration preset if you prefer) for a couple of hours, i remembered i wanted to take some more night pics…
oh, thanks Erick for the suggestion btw.
