Has anyone been bold enough to try the DIY kit? If so any pics or advice?
I am on the fence on trying to do this, but I would like a bit of encouragement either way.
I am good at soldering (SMT too), and I am sure I could handle it, but…

As it turns out…
My LP Stage II is late enough that the mod will not require soldering. And it comes with a pre-drilled right side panel. As it turns out, I may be closer to doing this than I thought.
I have wanted to have a modular synth for some time, and a LP with CV out as a controller seems like it could be pretty cool.
Can anyone suggest “starter” modules for a modular newb on a budget?
