I have A little Phatty and a Moog Rogue do I need special 1/4" cables to hook them up together ?

By hooking them up do you mean?

  1. Mixing their outputs
  2. Attaching in series so first one is main output then second uses it’s audio in for processing of the first sound
  3. Having control of pitch and gate simultaneously so you can play one and the second one follows suit and plays the same note

depending on which one you choose you have a specific way you must attach them. No real special 1/4" cables are needed for any of these configurations.
Please note though all of the “Gate” and “Pitch” jacks on these devices are INPUTS so you can’t just connect two inputs together. You instead need a controller that you can split into two plugs to simultaneously drive both synths.

My Rogue says use stereo jacks only. Does the LP use the ring or tip?
