Linking the MG 1 and the Rogue, or Prodigy

Hello again,

I’m constantly glancing around at cheap synthesizers online, and one of my focuses is dual-oscilator monosynths. Among them are the Concertmate MG-1, Rogue and Prodigy. Because they all have thin sounds, I’m thinking of getting two. The MG-1 has that 10-voice poly function, but no pitch-bend and mod wheels.

If I purchased an MG-1 and connected it to either the Rogue, or the Prodigy through the CV imputs, could I use the knobs, sliders and buttons on either synth to control the other? (The MG-1 would supply the polysynth, but the other would supply the pitch / mod wheels.)

No, there is no provision on any of the “baby moogs” to transmit knob/slider/button changes to the front panel. This is analog pre-MIDI stuff. The CV jacks only accept/transmit keyboard CV.
