LFO question

Hello guys

I’m pretty new in Analog Moog world

Just bought a Voyager RME, now i’m turning knobs from different patches, and i have a question about LFO

I’m stucked with the first patch “moog tasty bass” really would like to tweak it, so i set up on my “P” modulation bus a LFO (saw wave) to the filter
I’m playing with the amount but still no modulation…

I’ve tried this on other patches (default one too) and the filter modulate!

Do you know what i’m missing…? Sorry for this very dumb question…

Many thanks for your help

Regards,
Ludo

i’m sure somebody can help me

Hello,

there is no such thing as a saw wave in the LFO section of the Voyager. It’s either triangle or pulse. If you want a saw LFO you need to use Oscillator 3:

  1. Set the Oscillator to LFO mode
  2. Dial the sawtooth wave
  3. Adjust the freqeuncy
  4. In the buss that you want to use select Osc3 as source.
  5. Select a destination
  6. and an amount.

Kind regards,
Yannis

Thanks Yannis

Sorry i would like to say triangle mode…anyway i’ve tried steps that you describe and still no modulation on this patch (no prob with others), i really would like to understand why

I’ve tried to modulate with de MW and it’s ok, but why P bus didn’t modulate :-/

set pedal bus shaping to “ON/PGM” and have a look at “PGM Shap. 2 SRC” (3.2) in the edit menu. Select “Offset Value”, High=0 and Low=0.

i accidentely deleted most of my presets (but i don’t care about presets), so i don’t have the moog tasty bass preset.

does the p modulation bus work if you choose “pitch” as it’s destination?
if not, maybe you can have a look at “Pot Mapping S/D” (5.4) in the edit menu. Does the p modulation bus work if you disable all pot mappings?
