Maybe everyone knows this, but I’ve figured it out today (and I’ve had the LP for two weeks now) and it’s been a lot of fun for me the whole morning. I’ve tried to understand the concept behind the Legato modes (1.03Tb OS). I’ve come up with a nice trick.
Take the 13 Very Mini Patch and modify it as follows.
Set the Filter and Amp Envelopes to almost maximum attack and maximum release and high sustain (you can sen AmpAttack a little shorter then FltrAttack), then lower the filter cut-off and to turn up Filter Env control that the sound slowly fades in from silence (also adjust the resonance to 12 or 1 o’clock) and play Legato ON and notice how the Envelopes make the sound fade in as you play and then when you let go of the key the sounds slowly fades out (that’s no big deal, everyone knows that), but when you start playing again (while the release still sounds) the sound doesn’t start for silence as in the beginning, but from the level of the release. It let’s you play some cool “floating” lines that can be loud and bright when you play legato and fall down then you let go and then come back again. I’ve had a lot of fun today with that.
I hope I haven’t messed anything up in the above description.
I’ll try to post my patch in the evening.
