On the topic of ribbon controllers/touch pads…Can the Kaoss pads from korg be rigged up to the LP? I noticed the new Mini Kaoss pad which is smaller and cheaper, but still has cool effects like the decimator…

Yup, they’ll surely work.
But bear in mind that the miniKP doesn’t have MIDI, so you’ll only be able to control the effects within it, and not parameters in the LP.
So the signal/sounds of the LP will be effected depending on how I fiddle with the Kaoss pad…but I can’t use it as a external controller for the LPs features?
Yes, exactly. But that’s only regarding the miniKP.
The big KPs also have MIDI and should thus work as external MIDI-controllers.
