Knob display

I was hoping that when I rotated a knob the display would show the exact value of the position of the knob. Instead it shows a larger number. For example when rotating the Arpeggiator Rate knob it would show the exact rate. When I position it dead center at 120 it get 8304 in the display of the value. Same for the values on other knobs. The only time it is correct is when I turn the knob to zero. Is this how it should work? Not what I expected,

Well, this is really by design.

It has been discussed whether user-friendly values should appear when rotating controls, or the actual value which is set in the firmware. It has been eventually decided that it would be preferred to have the high resolution range kept also on Editor, so range is 0 to 16383 to most controls. Thanks !

so being new to this, how do i translate the number displayed to the number on the knob?

0-16383 is just the range of a physical knob or slider. So you basically should not translate from one range to another, and use the range appearing on the dial itself (or Editor GUI) for reference.
