Hey,
Just now having trouble with getting the keyboard on my Voyager to work (after a year of no probs). What sort of “user error” should I investigate before getting properly worried?
- Still getting sound out perfectly, by operating it via MIDI in.
- no MIDI out, in addition to the keyboard not triggering the Voyager’s own sound.
Any ideas?
Make sure that “Kybrd” is set to “on” in the “master functions - MIDI Local Control” menu.
Otherwise, it’s possibly a locked-up, or failed, keyboard scanner digital board.
A replacement is most probably available.
I know that some very early models (at least the Old School version) had a firmware issue with that board, that made them lock-up.
