Hi there, is there any difference in the quality of the keybed in the stage 2? I’ve heard conflicting ‘claims’
I’m considering getting a stage one second hand and then paying for the upgrades of the os and tge usb etc when I have more money.
By the way, is the stage 1 USB upgrade easy to DIY?

My little phatty stage 1 is going in for a full factory overhaul. With the cost of shipping and the time without my LP, I opted to get is much done while it is there as possible. The price for the new keybed is very minimal, but I am worried I’ll miss the “old” feel (even if it’s inferior, it’s what I’m used to). I did opt not to get the usb upgrade. Also check out the LHC (wheels), they work themselves loose with heavy handed playing after a couple of years. Also, very minimally priced.
