Kenton CV-MIDI converter + MF102?

Hello guys,
I have the MF102-101-103. I plan to trigger my MF102’s oscillator with a MIDI keyboard. My first option is the Kenton CV-MIDI converter, but since the MF102 doesn’t have a Gate input, I’m not sure if it will work correctly, and I would like to know prior to buying the Kenton CV-Midi converter.

Any advise?

The Oscillator is always on. There is no gate to open or close.
You can send it cv to control it’s pitch/frequency.
To gate it you’d need to run it through a vca controlled by an envelope or use cv to automate the mix knob. Or you could manually hit the bypass switch.
