I am trying to use the Mother-32’s “KB OUTPUT” to control the pitch of the oscillators on my Moogerfooger FreqBox and Sub Phatty. In both cases, the pitch is not tracking properly. Here is my patch cord setup for each:
• Mother-32: KB OUTPUT > FreqBox: FREQ input
• Mother-32: KB OUTPUT > Sub Phatty: PITCH CV input
After tuning the Mother-32 to Middle C (261.6Hz), the receiving instruments were also tuned to 261.6Hz. Both the FreqBox and Sub Phatty tracked at less than 100%, with increased detuning at each step. The FreqBox and Sub Phatty did not, however, track at the same intervals—though they curiously align on “F”. Here are the results of the tracking going up 1 octave:

so…should the FreqBox and Sub Phatty accurately track the Mother-32’s KB OUTPUT? If so, what am I doing wrong, or what else should I check in my setup? Thanks!
Did you plugged the two synths at the same time on the KB CV out ?
If so, you need a buffered multiple so you don’t have voltage loss.
No, I tested both independently. I mostly want to utilize the Moogerfooger FreqBox as a second oscillator for the Mother-32 by sending the FreqBox’s OSC OUT audio in to the EXT. AUDIO on the Mother-32.
After some deep searches on this board and the internet, my plan of attack is:

Purchase a multimeter and verify that the Mother-32’s KB OUTPUT is in fact putting out 1V/oct. If it is NOT calibrated correctly, I’ll contact Moog directly and figure out which trim pot I use to tune this—my assumption is the “KB CV Gain.”

If the Mother-32 is calibrated to put out 1V/oct, I found another post on this board — http://forum.moogmusic.com/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=5054&p=149399&hilit=freqbox+calibration#p149399 — describing how to tune the FreqBox. I already opened the FreqBox and it looks pretty simple—and I already have the proper tool, which ships with the Mother-32.
If this is the answer, however, that means I have to tune the Sub Phatty’s PITCH CV, which does not appear so easy.
Anyone out there successfully using the KB OUTPUT on the Mother-32 to accurately track other analog synths? Or can someone from Moog address using the FreqBox this way—it seems to be a no brainer way to use these two.
