!Muchos Gracias Senior!

That doesn’t sound like my ProSoloist…

That’s not a bad patch though.

I tried my hand at it and put my patch up on squarewaves.

Hello,

Acually the above patch is programmed by ear from the mp3.
The thing with the public domain patches is that users are free to edit and tweak them to whatever fits their aesthetic taste. If someone
actually has the given synth they are based on, they are in a position to bring them closer to the actual article, but they are largely, points of departure, not necessarily an end. If some choose to use them ‘as is’, cool.
For every patch posted, its one of a group of variations. Some are at even greater variance from the actual instrument, as they include experiments using functions unique to the Vger.
Will check out the new version, in addition to posting a variant or two as time permits.

Lawrence,

Thanks for uploading your patch on the SquareWave site. Since the patch wasn’t saved using the Voyager’s "Send Panel Sound’ feature, however, the patch loads back into its original location, overwriting the sound already there. This can cause problems if a user doesn’t have their patches backed up. It also means that anyone trying your patch will have to hunt for it after loading.

Can you please correct this?

Thanks,

Greg

Greg,

The Arp Soloist file on Squarewave has been updated. Also added one of the variants of the patch. Its a bit further from the original than the first patch, but includes a programmed distortion effect that I preferred over the PS’s actual growl effect.

Lawrence

Thanks!

P.S. I don’t think it’s possible to have too many patches, even if they are variations!
