Is this a manufacturer defect on my Little Phatty Stage II?

I usually keep my little phatty stage II CV on a 3-tier keyboard stand on the top tier. the other day I took the phatty down and set it on a leveled dresser inside my room and I noticed when I looked at my phatty from a distance I could see LED light seeping out below the LFC (left hand controller) like the LFC part on the phatty maybe wasn’t properly manufactured? I haven’t had a chance to take a look at another Phatty in person, but I just wanted to know, is this normal? Do all of your Phatty’s also look this way? I know it doesn’t really affect the playability or anything like that but if I paid for a brand new Phatty I do just want to know that I bought one without any manufacturer defects, know what I mean?

Do all of your Phatty’s also look this way where you can see the LED light seeping out beneath the LFC, or is it solidly shut?

Thanks so much.

This is normal, there is a tiny gap between the top angled plate and the bottom metal frame. At just the right angle, you can see the light seeping out.

Yup, perfectly normal. Mine is a bit unusual, as it has yellow and red seeping through…only because I changed my LED’s, though. :laughing:

thank u guys so much : )

feels good to know there is nothing wrong with my moogerfooger cp-251’s best friend : )

thanks again for clearing that up for me!

@voltor07, it must look pretty!!

Those are just the lights on the front part of the wheels. The back part of the wheels are green and yellow. I used to have blue instead of yellow, but the blue LED’s kept dying. :angry: I have lots of colors on my LP…check out my Youtube channel to see for yourself. :wink:

well, wuddyaknow. There is a bit of light leak. Is what it is.

@muksys, wuddyaknow and is what it is indeed!
