My Voyager Performer was involved in an ‘incident’. I’ll spare you the details. It needs a real good cleaning…more than simply wiping it down with a moist cloth as described in the manual. Is there a soap that is safe to use on the panel?
On a related note do the knobs just pull off? They seem to be on real tight and I don’t want to break anything.
Well, Im thinking Vomit? THe manual states water only…specifically a damp cloth. If theres stuff all down in the CV ports you might want to send it back to the factory.
Somem members do use solvents though diluted. I think its safe to use at your own risk.
I agree the knobs are on there pretty tight, theres no screws so they probably pull off.
Yup…our cat figured out how to open the door to my ‘studio’…perched herself on the Voyager keyboard and let loose all over the panel…within minutes of eating dinner. It was funny and horrifying all at the the same time. My first task is to get the Voyager clean…my second to replace the latch on the door. I wiped everything down but still feel some kind of cleaner is in order.
Yeah…I was more than a bit annoyed but things happen. It could have been worse. She could have jumped on it and knocked it off the stand and damaged it. No big deal. I just want to get it as clean as I can.
