so the title says it all…i mean,i always heard about roland and korg equipment involved in producing detroit techno.but what about the glorious moog?
any advice on some nice presets to start tweakin’ to?and what about an xml steiberg file for the midi cc?
The Voyager wasn’t around in the first wave of Detroit Techno.
Carl Craig has a Voyager RME, I have upgraded it for him. As for the sounds, you won’t get the Detroit sounds from a preset I don’t think… if you feel the music, tune the frequencies of the synth until they match what you feel. Then save that and start writing.

That begs the question what did you to to upgrade the Voyager?
I bought my Voyager AE from Jimmy Edgar in June of '05. He had it for a couple of months and I think it just didn’t fit with him.
