Maybe a stupid question but Is It Possible to Use 110v CP251 with 220v MoogerFoogers?
I want to order a CP251 from the us (110v) but allready got a 220v MoogerFooger, will it work flawless?
thanx,
stentec

Each MF has a wallwart adapter for 110 or 220. As long as all the wallwart voltages are the same, they will work.
@ MC:
Do you mean I have to use the same adapters for everything? for example on ly 110v or 220v, or is it possible to have the both 110v and 220v adapters as long as they have 9v+?
One or the other; you cannot mix them. However you can get replacement wallwarts easily.
The voltages that go into the needed wall warts always have to match the voltage of your main outlets. And the output of the wallwarts need to match the units specs you conect it too. (voltage, polarity of the jack, sometimes AC is needed and not DC).
If you only have the wrong main voltage power supply, you should by the ones that is matching the mains voltage. And avoide 110 to 220 volt converters where possible.
The first part might be a slightly confusing answer.
The Moogerfoogers (and CP) use “wallwart” adaptors like many small electronic products.
The units themselves don’t plug in the wall directly so there is just one version for all
voltages.
You need the correct voltage wallwart for your part of the world. Fortunately the ones for moogerfooger’s aren’t exotic or hard to find. You just need a 9v DC one with the same connector. Check the amperage on the label of the one you have and make sure you get another with the same or higher amperage.
So as to your exact question, I hope I’ve explained that if you are in a 110v country you can use the 110v adaptor on any moogerfooger and if you are in a 220v country you can use the 220v adaptor on any moogerfooger. Just don’t use the wrong one, get another wall wart.
