I am writing a paper on Minimoog player techniques that shaped the future of the instrument, influenced future Moog players, and influenced genres.
Im familiar with Gary Numan and Trent Reznor, but what’s more important is HOW they used the instrument .
I’m not sure which forum this belongs to but you could do worse as a starter by reviewing Moog’s own video of the history of the minimoog. Here you’ll get a more rounded view of musicians who have used the mini to great acclaim and they key point of how they pioneered it’s use as an instrument. Maybe then you might ask some specifics.
