if you press the button first time after your update (V3.1) then a non initialized compare buffer delivers some random “nonsense”…
You have to go at least one time to the Compare to Preset function and everything works fine.
I couldn’t find the description that pressing the button (in normal display mode!) switches to that selected file (choosed for comparing purposes), but it does. Maybe an additional nice feature when one understands this behaviour…
I corrected it now. To my shame I have to admit that I couldn’t remember exaktly… Of course, there is no button. I’m not sitting in front of my MMV at the moment, sorry.
After updating I found myself in "Compare " mode as well and finally noticed. OK, I went to “Compare to preset” and set up one to compare against. It toggles back and forth between presets and seems to operate OK but the screen still displays bogus garbage when pressing the cursor button. I’ve never used this function but I went back and read the release notes for 2.0 which mentions the cursor button being used for comparing. Anyway, what exactly should the display read when pressing the cursor button. It’s probably user error, any suggestions?
