I’m the proud owner of a super nice still-in-the-box Rogue and just got a Doepfer MCV4 to sequence it. I get all the issues with the cables needed and the jumper removal. I’m embarrassed to say I’m not sure how to send program change messages to it. I’ve an audio interface with MIDI outs, but I’ve never needed to do anything MIDI-wise outside of the computer environment. I use Ableton on OSX and I don’t seem to see any straight forward way to simply send MIDI program change commands. I know I’m dealing with some basic MIDI stuff and frustrated with my results. Can anyone recommend a MIDI editor that might work via a QWERTY keyboard?
