I have just brought the LP and i can’t get it to go into ‘Boot’ mode ? i have held down the ‘MASTER’ button when turning the machine one but nothing happens ? can someone please help ?

Before updating to OS 3.1 you FIRST MUST update the BOOTLOADER with the included sysex file (LP_Stage_v2-v3_Update.syx). It is all explained in the “LP_v2-v3_Update_Instructions” document, also included with the OS update. Good Luck

You can do it over USB straight from your computer to your Phatty - That’s what I did, and all is well.

Tech support is telling me I have to upgrade my USB firmware first and I need to run the included “LP_USB_V32” file first. I’m on MAC OSX and LP_Stage_StageII_v3_1_Update_OSX does not include a file “LP_USB_V32”. They told me they would email me the file, and of course it’s a .exe file… ugh…

USB Firmware software seems to be only available for WINDOWS…

Ok, I got the OS update to go through without the USB 32 update.

I understood that the SysEx file was only for the non-USB Phattys and PhattyLoader was for the USB Phattys . I was wrong. You have to run the .syx on the USB Phatty, then run the PhattyLoader application. Also, I thought that SySx Librarian only ran over MIDI. I did not think I could run it over USB. All good here! Thanks!
