I’m waiting for my Little Phatty Tribute to come and I’m getting anxious about the new update being released.
Do you update the Little Phatty through midi?
That’s the only way I can think of how that works.

You’ll need http://www.midiox.com to do the update through MIDI.
Of course, you need a MIDI interface for your computer & at least one (two is better) MIDI cable. 
or use sysex librarian for osx on a mac, works great here for last few updates.
