How to update the firmware?

So I need to get around to udating the Taurus 3’s software and not sure how to do this… does it use a USB stick or what?

need to get the update so I can edit tempo with an absolute value instead of the abstract values…

Youll need MidiOX (pc) or Sysex Librarian (mac) and a midi to usb interface.

I don’t know about the Taurus, but some people have had trouble trying to do OS upgrades thru USB. Im using an Edirol Um-1 and it works fine. It takes a few minutes to do everything. The zip files shoudl have instructions.

Please note this is a beta and will fix some of the freezing issues, but it is not the full upgrade yet so wait for Amos to officially release the full blown Firmware and then go through the procedure again.

Good luck!

ps. it might still experience freezing when running the arpeggiator. It froze on me with the WOWOW bass preset when I was playing with the rate.
Hope this helps,
Eric

Actually, all you need is a usb cable from your pc plugged into the Taurus - no other software, hardware or convertors are needed.
