How to store Taurus 3 system settings?

The update to Taurus 3 firmware 2.0.1 went well. I like the new Midi In Transpose function. However, the system settings aren’t saved, so I have to change the settings every time I switch on my Taurus 3. Am I doing something wrong or is this a bug?

I haven’t had time to fully test this version, but I just tried what you said and it does seem that the global parameters are not stored after power down.

Amos?

Oy vey. The settings are saved, but I’m guessing that it is doing a Factory Restore on start-up… probably a result of the last fix I added to ensure no problems when updating from older versions. This factory restore is only supposed to happen on first updating the firmware… not on subsequent runs. I apologize; this will be easy to fix. I’ll try to get to it this Thursday or Friday.

Tested a fix for this here and it seems to be working. Please confirm:

this is a plain sysEx file; will work fine for updating on a Mac (SysEx Librarian) but not recommended for use with Midi-Ox/windows… let me know if you need a Windows executable version.

Cheers!

Dunno about FlowerP but I’m on Windows.

I use Windows XP, so someone else will have to test the sysex file.

Hi guys,

here are WIndows files:

…and a Mac version with full documentation, if anyone needs it:

Problem solved with firmware 2.0.2. Thank you, Amos.
