How to match sounds SP and LP?

I wanna go polyphonic. How can i match the sounds from the SP and LP Stage 1, so that they are the same ? Both have now same firmware.

You need to first send the same preset(s) from the LP to the SP (or the other way around if thats what you want).

Then using MIDI cables, connect MIDI out of one, to MIDI in on the other. You might have to do some MIDI setting tweaks on the synths to get them talking and listening correctly… Then whenever you change the knob or play a note on one instrument, it should send that midi data to the other so your tweaking is mimicked on the other synth…

Im not sure, but you might have to save the preset on all devices independently after you find a patch you like by tweaking…

Expanding on what Mr Shave said, on whatever unit you want to send from, you go into the “SYSEX” menu, where you can choose to send either the current panel settings, a single preset, or all presets to any phattys in the midi chain (from midi out). Whenever I write a new patch for polyphony use, I generally design it on my Little Phatty and send it to the following SP’s as they are chained from the LP.
