anyone know how to recreate this preset? iv copied and tried everything with no luck, any care to shed some light on this? I cant make it sound the same as the preset even though iv written down the settings. Thanks.
there’s nothing too fancy happening here…
one thing you can do is to check "precision mode’ for the exact value of all parameters… if setting these parameters the same on another preset doesn’t make it sound the same, go to advanced preset and make sure mod2 dest. is turned off, as in the original Rude Bass preset.
I’m assuming you have the original preset on your LP and are trying to copy it on the same instrument, correct? If so, then the answer must be there somewhere. There must be some setting (perhaps a subtlety of filter or envelope) that you’re not adjusting to match the original. Listen carefully to your version vs. the original and try to hear what about it precisely is different… this will be very educational in any case.
