How I can use simultaneously Cubase SX 3 and Voyaer editor?

I’m having the same problem but with Protools, the problem is PT & the editor share the same midi I/O (in your case the hardware you use with cubase) the hardware drivers can only be assigned to one instance at a time.

Adding an optional midi I/O device might solve this.
My favorite solution would be the editor in plugin format though, either VST or/and Rtas. Maybe someone is listening and thinks about for the next editor update.

I prefer to have a computer that only runs MIDI editors, leaving my DAW free for recording.
MIDI editors dont tend to use much CPU power, so you can pick up something that will do the job really cheap. Old computers with 700mhz - 1ghz cpu will do the job.
